Reactivating dormant accounts with context-aware outreach

Software reseller, mid-market focus, significant base of lapsed client accounts

The situation before

The company had a substantial CRM of accounts that had bought once but not renewed or expanded. The accounts weren't cold — they had an existing relationship — but no one had the capacity to work through the list systematically with personalised outreach.

What was built

An agent that works through the dormant account list, pulling each account's purchase history, last interaction date, and any notes from the CRM. It researches the account's current state (company growth, new hires in relevant roles, product updates that may be newly relevant) and drafts a reactivation message that references the prior relationship and a specific, current reason to reconnect. Responses are classified and routed; positive responses are assigned to a named account owner with the full research file attached.

A walkthrough of this scenario — how the agent runs, what the output looks like, and how the handoff to your team works. Content to be added before launch.

What changed

A segment of accounts that had generated no revenue in 12+ months produced a measurable reactivation response rate. Several accounts that had been written off as churned were re-engaged. [Revenue recovered and meeting rate — metric TBD]
